The Floorplan is pleased to announce our newest e-publication Special Issue: Envisioning Online as a Space for Art. It includes interviews with Benjamin Egger, a researcher and curator who focuses on post-digital, queer art, and exhibitions in contemporary art; Dr. Stéphanie Bertrand, whose research examines how virtual museums can impact the actual art system; and Min Guhong of Min Guhong Manufacturing, an artist who takes “publishing” as his practice represented either online or offline. They talk about how we can envision “online” as a space for art, which is expressed in various terms such as the digital, virtual space, metaverse, space for post-digital, and the Web, as opposed to “offline.”
